Founded in 1928, Cresap is a historic non-profit shooting club in Frederick, MD. Open to the public every Sunday from 10am until 3pm at a cost of $20 per shooter and $5 for each additional hour.

Cresap Rifle Club is a non-profit, member maintained, outdoor handgun and rifle range located in Frederick Maryland. The club was established in 1928 to help promote the shooting sport through the education of young shooters. The range is open to the public during specific weekend hours at a cost of $20 per shooter. Target changes are performed once an hour, on the hour. Membership is available to those who qualify.
10 and 25 yard targets for pistols and 50 and 100 yard targets for rifle shooters, with over 30 lanes in total.
We're seeing more new shooters than ever and take pride in providing a space to educate youth and promote competition.
Dedicated area for vintage and antique black powder rifles at the far end of our rifle range to accommodate black powder shooters.
Cresap now offers cleaned brass casings for sale to reloaders who visit us on Sundays. We have a number of different calibers available at the range which you'll see advertised at the office.
